Kristian Hill. The review of Friday 11 September 2026.

Layer 1, page 2 of 2, elements 1.10 to 1.18

The world

What a stranger who has nothing but the channel can see: who you are, who it is for, what you stand against, what you talk about.

Who you are his words
A coach who got out of chronic stress himself, RAF, quarter million pound fitness business, the collapse of 2025, and now takes entrepreneurs out of it.
Who it is for his words
Founders and business owners in their thirties and forties who look successful from the outside and built a business that runs on them.
What you stand against his words
The belief that it has to be harder than it is: the hustle you built after you escaped the first one, and the idea that you fix this alone.
What you talk about his words
Getting people out of chronic stress and the vices it runs on. Chronic stress is tangible; the powerful state is what comes after, not the subject.
A polished chrome billet covered in coarse hammer facets
The billet. Struck into a shape, not yet a tool.
The tally 19 elements, 19 statements. 8 his words, 9 measured, 2 our proposal. 1.2 is the element the layer stands or falls on. Six of nine expert chairs named it. Nothing to open
Previous, 1.9

1.10 The thing only you could have made

The framework asks: The access or fact of his life no competitor in the niche has.

He was the fitness coach who built the quarter million pound business, ran the retreats, raced Celtman and HYROX, and then collapsed inside it. The people he now coaches are the person he was two years ago. No competitor in the measured set has that.

his words

Your call on Friday Confirm the lived fact as the differentiator, not the vocabulary.

his words

  • What you have that Kyle and Derek do not is nine years further down the same road: RAF into underdog belief into a quarter million pound business, Ironman and Celtman behind you, and eight years of daily posting since 2018 before anyone around you was doing it.

BRAND IDENTITY statements, the only you item, turns 96 to 98
  • I want to help people, like me, that were stuck in that point that were not fulfilling their level of success because of the walls and limitabilities they've created.

    Review call, 7 September

measured

  • On the site the facts are there. On the feed they are nearly absent: RAF 4, HYROX 3, Celtman 0 of 193 captions.

    Caption count, 7 September
  • His single highest reach asset, 199,040 plays, runs a licensed music bed with no speech and a caption any coach in the category could have written.

    Findings L4-05 and L4-06

our proposal

  1. The substitution test decides what goes out: put a competitor's name on the piece. A symptom list survives it; a piece that opens on the 2025 collapse inside the business he built does not.

1.11 The person is the front door

The framework asks: A named human fronts the channel, and the profile routes to something actually sold.

Passes today. A verified personal handle, continuous output, and a route from the profile into the diagnostic, an email sequence and one booking link. From Friday the front door is Kristian alone; Eilidh moves behind it.

measured

Your call on Friday Name the call.

his words

  • for years, I didn't want to be referred to as Kristian Hill. I wanted to be referred to as ready for anything. But now I wanna be referred to myself for the work that I do

BRAND IDENTITY interview, 1 September, turn 106
  • We're really pushing the message of my brand but Ali has her own story.

    Review call, 7 September

measured

  • The primary link opens the diagnostic, which captures a first name and an email into the nine day intro sequence, and the result screen carries one anchor: book a free discovery call.

Funnel walkthrough, findings L1-09 and L1-11
  • Eighteen active months at a median of twelve posts a month, longest gap nineteen days.

    Instagram snapshot, 11 August
  • The site speaks as "We" and its hero reads "Kristian Hill & Eilidh Sutherland". The primary link is a raw Netlify hostname over plain http.

    Findings L3-06 and L5-12

our proposal

  1. The site and the funnel say "I". Eilidh keeps her account and her role, success coach and head of client performance, and is introduced for that one area.
  2. The free call gets a name and stops being a sales call. "Tap in call" and "clarity call" are his two candidates.

1.12 The person shows up, not just the expertise

The framework asks: A recognisable manner and an owned opinion come through, not a competent teacher voice.

The manner is there when he is a person and gone when he teaches. Four of his ten best posts are him being himself; ten of seventeen entrepreneur posts drew zero comments. The random facts habit he named has never appeared on the feed.

measured

Your call on Friday Confirm the aside habit may be used deliberately.

his words

  • I'm, like, a gatekeeper of random facts. I am, like, a sponge when it comes to knowledge. I love reading random articles, consuming random documentaries from the evolution of nuclear energy to concentration camps, to random geographical facts

BRAND IDENTITY interview, 1 September, turn 138

measured

  • "What stress fracture? 😝" took 42 comments, his best in the set. The entrepreneur posts have a median comment count of zero.

    Caption classification, 9 September
  • Comment median 1 and comment rate 0.01 percent of followers, against Eilidh at 0.06 percent on an account 2.4 times smaller.

    Audit figures N-10, N-12, N-37
  • Split the channel two ways: when he explains something, median 32 likes and 1 comment. When he shows something of himself or a client, median 49 likes and 2 comments.

Caption classification, 9 September, section 2

our proposal

  1. The teaching pieces carry the person: the random fact as an aside inside the lesson, the Scottish register left in, the humour that visibly works.
  2. No standalone lifestyle posts as a bucket. The lane stays the subject and the person rides inside it.

1.13 The role you play toward the audience

The framework asks: The posture toward the viewer, nameable in one word, plus any recurring cast.

Mentor. His clients call him that unprompted and he claims it. The profile currently gives a stranger no role at all, and two surfaces disagree: Mental Performance Coach on the site, Personal Coach on Instagram.

his words

Your call on Friday Confirm mentor as the word.

his words

  • They've referred to me as a great mentor to them, especially Niamh

BRAND IDENTITY interview, 1 September, turn 112
  • Niamh just regularly refers to me as our therapist, our mentor, our guide

BRAND IDENTITY interview, 1 September, turn 62
  • He doesn't have a certain format, but he was one day talking to me and he was like, one thing he always done at first is he always gave a session because it was really important to build that trust.

WhatsApp voice note, 8 September, 10:50, on his mentor Kian

measured

  • The display name is "Kristian Hill" and the bio is a value statement with no role noun. Eilidh is named coauthor on 28 of his 32 collab posts.

Funnel teardown, role labels; audit figure N-22

our proposal

  1. One role word on every surface: mentor. Not coach, because the category is full of coaches and the word he already earns from clients is the other one.
  2. The cast is one person, Eilidh, introduced as head of client performance.

1.14 Who and what you keep standing next to

The framework asks: The three to five things a stranger sees him repeatedly paired with, held over six months.

Today: Eilidh, the nomad life, training, and named clients. Tomorrow: entrepreneurs who got out of chronic stress, the RAF, and the practitioners he learned from. The one hashtag he still carries is the brand he retired.

measured

Your call on Friday Strike or add to the five.

his words

  • The cluster you are actually seen beside is the digital nomad lifestyle itself, travel, training, professional shoots, rather than a fixed group of people or brands.

BRAND IDENTITY statements, the beside item, turns 122 to 132

measured

  • Coauthors across the scored set: Eilidh 28, Carly Malcolm 7, the Calderwood sisters 4. Collab posts run a likes median of 71 against 37 solo.

    Audit figures N-22 to N-24
  • Eleven of 193 posts carry any hashtag, twelve tags in all. The top tag is #ReadyForAnything, last used 2 September 2025.

Caption classification, 9 September, section 5.11
  • Caption sweep, first read: training or gym 30, clients 19, RFA 18, mindset 16, Eilidh 12, energy 10, stress 8, nervous system 1.

    Caption count, 7 September

our proposal

  1. Five things, and the same five in six months: entrepreneurs who got out, chronic stress, Regulate Integrate Expand, the RAF and the endurance record as the past, Eilidh as head of client performance.
  2. Guests, where the format has them, are the buyer: founders whose business ran on them.

1.15 Recognisable at a glance

The framework asks: One or two elements repeat across the last twenty covers so he is identifiable as a silhouette.

The grid is recognisable and it says the wrong thing: shirtless, gym, beach, treadmill, for the whole window, under headlines that say chronic stress. The picture is read before the words and the picture says fitness coach.

measured

Your call on Friday Agree that the covers change before the words do again.

measured

  • The three most recent text led covers before the scrape closed: "7 weird urges that show up right before your next chapter begins" over a shirtless balcony shot, "10 mindsets that signal you're wasting your 30s" over a shirtless gym mirror shot, "What we actually do" over a shirtless beach shot.

Cover and grid read, 122 covers, 9 September
  • The turn is datable on the covers: "Who is RFA 2.0 for?" in January 2026, typed over a shirtless physique shot, 24 likes against a median of 39.

Cover and grid read, 9 September
  • His two best posts in eighteen months are both physical health hooks with a body in frame. The two accounts, his and Eilidh's, do not look like one brand and never have.

Cover and grid read, 9 September

our proposal

  1. The silhouette holds and the setting changes: him, dressed, at the desk or on the call, in one repeating frame. The body stays in the archive as the past, not on the covers as the present.
  2. This is settled in Layer 6, the look, before the first new piece is made. Two weeks, capped.

1.16 The hard questions answered in public

The framework asks: Price, what goes wrong, this versus that, who else is good: findable before a call.

The method half is further published than most operators in the category ever get: a scored diagnostic, a three stage system, five long client stories. Price fails completely. No number, no range, no driver, no stated reason, on any surface, in any currency.

measured

Your call on Friday This is where his business model sits and it is his. We propose the mechanism; the number waits for him.

his words

  • No one ever asked me the cost before we reach out [...] I've been selling programs at a thousand pound for three months since [...] twenty one [...] almost, like, triple that now

METHOD interview, 7 September, turn 44
  • a lot of folks therapists psychologists that are essentially professionally trained fall short because although they know the work, they are not an embodiment of this

METHOD interview, 7 September, turn 62

measured

  • Zero occurrences of any currency symbol across 193 captions. No figure inside any tier block across all seven fetched site bodies.

    Layer 1 scoring, 7 September
  • The diagnostic gives a completed visitor nothing to keep: all 25 answers and the six pillar scores are computed in the browser and discarded, the result has no URL.

    Finding L5-10
  • Who else is good produced nothing: asked twice, he pointed at his own Perform tier.

    METHOD rescore, 9 September

our proposal

  1. A stated pricing mechanism on the offer page: the support level sets the price, and what moves it up and down. A number is his call and gates on the build plan; the mechanism can be published now.
  2. The diagnostic result gets a URL and a PDF, so the free thing is something a visitor keeps.

1.17 One recurring product a stranger can name

The framework asks: The channel behaves as one recurring thing with a premise a non fan can repeat.

Nothing recurs today: no series, no repeated title pattern, no premise. The cadence broke in the second quarter of 2026 and nobody said so. The recurring piece is a design job and it starts from the one format that has worked.

our proposal

Your call on Friday Choose the recurring piece, or propose his own.

measured

  • No named recurring thing exists on any surface across 193 rows, the top ten by likes, the hashtag regime or the seven site bodies.

    Layer 1 scoring, 7 September
  • Monthly post counts: fifteen months at 11 to 19, then April 4, May 6, June 2, then July back to 12.

Caption classification, 9 September, section 3
  • YouTube: 165 videos since 2022, 31 uploads in the second quarter of 2026 at a median of 60 views, eleven consecutive days in April. Cadence is not his problem.

    YouTube read, 9 September
  • The one format that reached forty times his median was a numbered symptom list about the nervous system.

    Post of 3 March 2026, 199,040 plays

our proposal

  1. A named weekly piece built on the symptom list shape, addressed to the founder and narrowed to his business: one sign that the business is running on your chronic stress, and what he did about it with one client. Him dressed and to camera. Seven of nine chairs build on the symptom list; five of nine dress him; four would keep the body in frame as the hook, and Hormozi would build on his own story instead. The full split is under 2.13.
  2. A second recurring piece, monthly: the first person account of his own turn, one chapter at a time. The series he promised on 24 April 2026 and did not publish.

1.18 Demand comes back in your own framing

The framework asks: Inbound that quotes a piece, a referrer using his words, or a full book. Artefact recorded.

Real inbound exists and names the piece: Sam Jones found him through the ten signs post. An Austrian glazing company owner read a post and opened up about his whole life. Neither has an artefact on record, and the book is not full.

his words

Your call on Friday Send the two screenshots.

his words

  • he found me on Instagram through a piece of top of funnel content. It was one of the less than ones explaining ten signs, or you're not as healthy as you think

BRAND IDENTITY interview, 1 September, turn 2, on Sam Jones
  • I had an incredible message off of, like, an ideal client who is Austrian who read a post that felt compelled to message me then opened up about his entire life, and he's lost himself. He owns a glazing company.

BRAND IDENTITY interview, 1 September, turn 94
  • we had an inquiry last week and it was just, like, "Do you do online personal training?" I'm like, "How the fuck am I still getting inquiries like this?"

    Review call, 7 September

measured

  • Below the scale threshold, 8,031 followers, so the audience echo criteria score not applicable. Nine consecutive weeks with zero new clients in 2026.

Profile read; calibration call, 17 August
  • The diagnostic has been collecting names and emails into a nine day sequence and no respondent data has ever been read.

    Layer 1 scoring, 7 September

our proposal

  1. Two screenshots close this element: Sam's first message and the Austrian's, each recorded against the post it names.
  2. The diagnostic respondents get read, so we know who the free thing actually attracts.
